Antique Edwardian 15ct Gold Heart Padlock Pendant

This super rare antique 15ct Gold heart padlock pendant is just beautiful! Made entirely from solid 15ct Gold, you can easily add this piece to a chain, bracelet, or split ring for the perfect antique finish.

During the Edwardian period, padlocks were worn on bracelets by women whose significant others were leaving for an extended period of time. The bracelet would be locked onto the woman’s wrist by the padlock charm, to which only her beloved would have the key- he would then open it upon his return.

The padlock is in excellent working order and would look great on a chain or bracelet.

This antique 15ct Gold heart padlock pendant is in very good condition. It remains smooth with a crisp and clear hallmark on the reverse. The padlock handle opens and clicks securely shut, with light surface wear on both sides. This would make a superb gift for a loved one or a perfect addition to your antique jewellery collection.

US orders placed directly through our website will now ship Delivered Duty Paid (DDP) with DHL— meaning we’ll take care of the new tariffs for you.

Other customs, duties, fees and any import taxes are the responsibility of buyer, as are any return shipping costs.

If you require ring sizing, please get in touch. Most of our rings can be sized. This usually takes 7 days. We charge a small fee of £45 for standard sizing. Sizing of 3 sizes or more may be subject to an additional cost.

Please note items that have been sized or customised are not eligible for a return.

We gladly accept layaway on all items in our shop. 
All pieces may be reserved with a 20% non-refundable deposit. 
After the deposit is made, you then have 2-4 months to complete the outstanding balance at your own convenience without any pressure from us. 
We usually ask items under £250 to be paid within 2 months and any items over £250 to be paid within 3-4 months. But this can be discussed to suit you. 
If a layaway is cancelled, the deposit amount is non-refundable. You are only eligible for shop credit if a layaway item is returned.

You can return your item for a full refund for any reason. Just get in touch within 14 days of receiving your order if you wish to do so. Please see our FAQ page for more information on returns.
