This quality Antique Amethyst Paste and Pearl mourning pin dates to the early 1800's set in 9ct Yellow Gold.
Inside the Amethyst Paste halo there is a second halo of Pearls surrounding a glass casing containing fine plaited hair. Hair was often using in jewellery during the Georgian and Victorian pieces as a sign of remembering a loved one.
Paste is a special type of hand cut glass which has been used since the 18th century to replicate Gemstones.
This is a quality collectable antique pin which would make a great addition to any collection.

If you require ring sizing, please get in touch. Most of our rings can be sized. This usually takes 7 days. We charge a small fee of £30 for standard sizing. Sizing of 3 sizes or more may be subject to an additional cost.

We gladly accept layaway on all items in our shop.
All pieces may be reserved with a 20% non-refundable deposit.
After the deposit is made, you then have 2-4 months to complete the outstanding balance at your own convenience without any pressure from us.
We usually ask items under £250 to be paid within 2 months and any items over £250 to be paid within 3-4 months. But this can be discussed to suit you.
If a layaway is cancelled, the deposit amount is non-refundable. You are only eligible for shop credit if a layaway item is returned.
