This beautiful Antique Micro Mosaic Necklace features nine mosaic droppers, modelled in metal, dating to the late Victorian period, circa.1900.
Micro Mosaics are a special form of Mosaic that uses unusually small pieces of glass (tesserae) handmade into intricate designs and patterns. This technique was popular in Italy during the Victorian period.
The necklace boasts beautiful, colourful floral Micro Mosaic tile work. Tiny tiles with vivid colours have been hand-set into the pendants, depicting detailed flowers and intricate designs. Each mosaic is very fine and beautifully set, making it almost appear like a painting.
This is a fantastic rare piece which would make a great addition to any collection!

CONDITION
This beautiful and rare necklace features beautiful mosaic work in great condition. There is only one small area of damage with two Turquoise tile pieces missing on one of the smallest pieces. Everything else remains in great condition with some light wear in keeping with age to the metal.

If you require ring sizing, please get in touch. Most of our rings can be sized. This usually takes 7 days. We charge a small fee of £30 for standard sizing. Sizing of 3 sizes or more may be subject to an additional cost.

We gladly accept layaway on all items in our shop.
All pieces may be reserved with a 20% non-refundable deposit.
After the deposit is made, you then have 2-4 months to complete the outstanding balance at your own convenience without any pressure from us.
We usually ask items under £250 to be paid within 2 months and any items over £250 to be paid within 3-4 months. But this can be discussed to suit you.
If a layaway is cancelled, the deposit amount is non-refundable. You are only eligible for shop credit if a layaway item is returned.
