This is a wonderful vintage six-pointed star brooch adorned with a dazzling array of Paste Stones that mimic the brilliance of Diamonds, creating a mesmerising play of light.
The stones graduate in size, and the gallery is all Sterling Silver and fitted with a pin and safety catch on the reverse. It would look lovely on a lapel and is a real statement piece.
Star brooches became popular during the Victorian period as an interest in astronomy grew. Stars symbolise guidance and are seen to lead you in the direction you are meant to go.
Paste is a special type of hand-cut glass used since the 18th century to replicate Gemstones.

This vintage paste star brooch remains in very good condition. The stones remain secure and sparkle beautifully. The centre stone, however, is chipped but isn't noticeable while being worn. The rollover safety catch is sturdy and keeps the brooch secure. Overall, it looks stunning worn and would make a wonderful gift or a superb addition to your own jewellery collection.

If you require ring sizing, please get in touch. Most of our rings can be sized. This usually takes 7 days. We charge a small fee of £30 for standard sizing. Sizing of 3 sizes or more may be subject to an additional cost.

We gladly accept layaway on all items in our shop.
All pieces may be reserved with a 20% non-refundable deposit.
After the deposit is made, you then have 2-4 months to complete the outstanding balance at your own convenience without any pressure from us.
We usually ask items under £250 to be paid within 2 months and any items over £250 to be paid within 3-4 months. But this can be discussed to suit you.
If a layaway is cancelled, the deposit amount is non-refundable. You are only eligible for shop credit if a layaway item is returned.
