Antique Sterling Silver Heavy Curb Albert Watch Chain with Dog Clip, T-Bar and Pigeon Medal | Birmingham 1901
This quality and super heavy Antique Albert Chain features a T-bar drop and dog clip fastening, along with a Pigeon Gold and Silver medal / medallion.
The chain is modelled throughout in Sterling Silver, fully hallmarked for Birmingham 1901. The medal is then a later addition hallmarked for Birmingham 1924.
The medal reads ‘C.V.H.S 1924 WON BY CECIL F. TUTT. NOVICE. BEST OLD BIRD AVERAGE.’
This is a quality and heavy example of an Albert chain (123.1 grams!) which would make a great addition to any collection.
