This quality Antique Pearl brooch and pendant dates to the Victorian Period, circa. 1880, modelled in 15ct Yellow Gold.
The piece depicts a flower in an Ivy leaf halo. Ivy leaves were used on jewellery to symbolise eternity, fidelity, and strong affectionate attachment, such as wedded love and friendship.
This piece can be worn as either a brooch or pendant via the hook at the back of the piece.
The Pearls are superb quality, each with a wonderful creamy lustre.
