The Art Nouveau era (c. 1890–1910) was a movement that broke from tradition, embracing flowing lines, organic forms, and the beauty of the natural world. Inspired by nature and Japonisme, Art Nouveau jewellery often featured flowers, leaves, insects, and whiplash curves, crafted with techniques such as enamelling and the use of delicate, sometimes unconventional materials.
