Antique Rolled Gold Curb Albert Chain Necklace | T-Bar and Dog Clips and Fob 16.75"

This quality Antique Albert Chain features a curb link chain, complete with two dog clips, a T-bar slider and spinning fob, all modelled in Rolled Gold.

The double-sided spinning fob features Carnelian Agate on both sides. Both stones have a smoothly polished surface and exhibit wonderful natural colours.

An albert chain is a decorative chain, originally used to attach a pocket watch to the wearer's clothing. The chain was named after Prince Albert, who was said to have been fond of wearing watch chains. The Dog clips would have been used to attach the pocket watch too and the T-Bar would go through the button hole of a waistcoat to secure in place.

Originally a pocket watch chain, this would now make a great necklace or addition to any collection.

CONDITION
This antique, rolled-gold Albert watch chain is in good condition. The links show light wear, and the double dog clips are both in fine working order. There is some discolouration and patina, as this is not a solid gold chain, but it offers an excellent effect for the price. Overall, this would be a fantastic alternative, looking for an antique rose gold chain without the higher price tag.

If you require ring sizing, please get in touch. Most of our rings can be sized. This usually takes 7 days. We charge a small fee of £45 for standard sizing. Sizing of 3 sizes or more may be subject to an additional cost.

We gladly accept layaway on all items in our shop. 
All pieces may be reserved with a 20% non-refundable deposit. 
After the deposit is made, you then have 2-4 months to complete the outstanding balance at your own convenience without any pressure from us. 
We usually ask items under £250 to be paid within 2 months and any items over £250 to be paid within 3-4 months. But this can be discussed to suit you. 
If a layaway is cancelled, the deposit amount is non-refundable. You are only eligible for shop credit if a layaway item is returned.
