Star Sapphire and Diamond Silver Ring | Vintage Style

This quality vintage-style ring features an oval Star Sapphire gemstone set with Diamonds on either side in 800 silver.

Star sapphires are such an amazing stone, and every single one is so different to look at. No two are ever exactly the same, which makes them such a valued stone. Star sapphires are only possible to produce when cut into a cabochon to allow the 6-pointed star to be created. The star within the stone is created by several microscopic needles/inclusions found within the structure running at different degrees, where light is then passed through to create such beauty. Star sapphires, just like faceted sapphires, are the hardest of all the coloured stones with a scale rating of 9, just behind Diamond.

CONDITION
This vintage-style ring remains in excellent condition. The sapphire shows no wear and remains secure. The diamonds are firmly set and undamaged. The silver is bright, and the band is thick, perfect for daily wear.

Antiques are usually exempt from import duties. However, we cannot be responsible for any duties applied by your country’s customs office. Rates vary from country to country, so please get in touch with your local customs agency. We charge no tax or vat on any orders.

US orders placed directly through our website will now ship Delivered Duty Paid (DDP) with DHL— meaning we’ll take care of the new tariffs for you.

Other customs, duties, fees and any import taxes are the responsibility of buyer, as are any return shipping costs.

If you require ring sizing, please get in touch. Most of our rings can be sized. This usually takes 7 days. We charge a small fee of £45 for standard sizing. Sizing of 3 sizes or more may be subject to an additional cost.

Please note items that have been sized or customised are not eligible for a return.

We gladly accept layaway on all items in our shop. 
All pieces may be reserved with a 20% non-refundable deposit. 
After the deposit is made, you then have 2-4 months to complete the outstanding balance at your own convenience without any pressure from us. 
We usually ask items under £250 to be paid within 2 months and any items over £250 to be paid within 3-4 months. But this can be discussed to suit you. 
If a layaway is cancelled, the deposit amount is non-refundable. You are only eligible for shop credit if a layaway item is returned.

You can return your item for a full refund for any reason. Just get in touch within 14 days of receiving your order if you wish to do so. Please see our FAQ page for more information on returns.
