This stunning Art Deco pendant features a butterfly wing under glass and is set in a sterling silver gallery. It is the perfect example of the Art Deco era, which used bold, bright jewellery and unique materials made into fascinating shapes with superb attention to detail.

The colour of the butterfly wings is breathtaking. The pendant, hand-painted with a view of a beach scene and completed with a silver flower bail at the top, was created by renowned artist Thomas L Mott.

Butterfly wing jewellery has a long history and was popular from the late 1800s to the 1960s. It is gaining popularity again with sustainable butterfly farms worldwide.

This Art Deco pendant remains in great condition. The butterfly wing is in good condition, with very slight wear at the top right of the hand-painted scene. The glass frame, set in sterling silver, secures the butterfly wing in place, showcasing shimmering hues. The pendant is a statement piece and will certainly be a real conversation starter! This butterfly pendant would make a wonderful gift for any animal lover, adding a splash of colour to your collection.

US orders placed directly through our website will now ship Delivered Duty Paid (DDP) with DHL— meaning we’ll take care of the new tariffs for you.

Other customs, duties, fees and any import taxes are the responsibility of buyer, as are any return shipping costs.

If you require ring sizing, please get in touch. Most of our rings can be sized. This usually takes 7 days. We charge a small fee of £45 for standard sizing. Sizing of 3 sizes or more may be subject to an additional cost.

Please note items that have been sized or customised are not eligible for a return.

We gladly accept layaway on all items in our shop. 
All pieces may be reserved with a 20% non-refundable deposit. 
After the deposit is made, you then have 2-4 months to complete the outstanding balance at your own convenience without any pressure from us. 
We usually ask items under £250 to be paid within 2 months and any items over £250 to be paid within 3-4 months. But this can be discussed to suit you. 
If a layaway is cancelled, the deposit amount is non-refundable. You are only eligible for shop credit if a layaway item is returned.
