This desirable Antique Amethyst Paste Riviere Necklace features thirty-three round cut Paste stones in quality bezel milgrain settings. The necklace is modelled in gold gilt and is completed with an original barrel fastener.

Paste is a special type of hand-cut glass used since the 18th century to replicate Gemstones.

The Amethyst Purple Paste stones are magnificent; they reflect the light beautifully through their facets, each graduated in size.

This necklace sits beautifully on the neckline, making it the perfect gift or a great addition to any collection.

CONDITION
This Antique paste riviere necklace remains in good condition. The links are all secure, and the box clasp fastener is sturdy 'clicking' shut. Like many antique pieces, there is light surface wear but this is only noticeable close-up. This looks fabulous whilst worn, and the stones are stunning when the light catches the facets. This remarkable necklace deserves a place in your antique jewellery collection.
