This is a gorgeous antique Victorian cluster ring from the late 19th Century. It features a long, navette gallery framing a natural cabochon oval opal. The Victorian opal displays a beautiful variety of memorising colours and weighs approximately 3.0ct with a border of twenty twinkling old mine-cut diamonds surrounding it (approx. 0.81ct total).
Opal is considered the birthstone for October, and is of thought of as a stone of luck and communication.
Natural Opals in this size with as much colour are fire as this is very rare and extremely sought after.
The Victorian opal ring's gallery is fashioned in silver and 18ct gold with pierced sides, scrolled shoulders and a sleek gold band at the back. It’s a spectacular statement ring with a magnificent collection of gems spread out on top.

This antique Opal ring, dating from the early 20th century, remains in excellent condition. The Opal is free from chips, scratches and cracks, with just a tiny nibble to the bezel setting. The Diamonds remain free from chips and retain a superb sparkle. The gold band is chunky and free from damage or signs of previous sizing. Overall, this is an excellent-quality ring and is bound to be a conversation starter!

If you require ring sizing, please get in touch. Most of our rings can be sized. This usually takes 7 days. We charge a small fee of £30 for standard sizing. Sizing of 3 sizes or more may be subject to an additional cost.

We gladly accept layaway on all items in our shop.
All pieces may be reserved with a 20% non-refundable deposit.
After the deposit is made, you then have 2-4 months to complete the outstanding balance at your own convenience without any pressure from us.
We usually ask items under £250 to be paid within 2 months and any items over £250 to be paid within 3-4 months. But this can be discussed to suit you.
If a layaway is cancelled, the deposit amount is non-refundable. You are only eligible for shop credit if a layaway item is returned.
