Antique Victorian Sardonyx Shield Plain Signet 9ct Yellow Gold Ring | Dated 1892
Antique Victorian Sardonyx Shield Plain Signet 9ct Yellow Gold Ring | Dated 1892
Stand out from the rest with this antique shield signet gold ring! A wonderful piece from the 19th-century Victorian era dating to 1892, featuring a beautifully cut sardonyx gemstone into the shape of a shield proudly poised in its centre. The sardonyx can be engraved with initials or a family crest but is equally as interesting left as it is.
With a chunky wide band and excellent finger coverage, this ring would make a wonderful gift or a great addition to any collection.

CONDITION
This antique 9ct gold signet ring remains in very good condition. Maintaining its shiny gold appearance, with an antique patina showing a lovely rosy hue. The sardonyx stone remains secure and, if we're being over-critical, has a tiny knock on the corner; however, this is hardly noticeable and has been well looked after, considering the ring's age. This would be a wonderful addition to your antique jewellery collection, worn perfectly alongside other gold rings.
